CTN Solutions, a premier IT managed services and cloud provider located in suburban Philadelphia, is hiring  Service Desk Support Specialists to support our clients’ IT needs.  We help our clients use IT more effectively to achieve their business objectives and improve employee productivity and effectiveness.  We serve as either an extension to a firm’s IT team or as the fully outsourced IT department.  Our delivery approaches are completely flexible based on client need.  We can manage a client-owned technology infrastructure, provide our complete cloud-based infrastructure as a service, or offer a hybrid approach of both approaches.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Remotely support clients with varied network environments as part of our level 1 Service Desk
  • Assist in hardware and software upgrades for clients
  • Support and troubleshoot end user and network infrastructure issues
  • Record all notes and resolutions to maintain a knowledge base in our ticketing system
  • Evaluate and resolve issues or escalate them to the next level

Skill and Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years industry experience including a minimum of 1 year in a helpdesk support environment
  • Experience with Microsoft products including Windows desktop and server environments
  • VPN and network connectivity understanding to troubleshoot issues
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work on varied network environments
  • Communication skills to ensure client expectations are met
  • Bonus experience:
    • HP, IBM, Cisco, and SonicWall hardware systems
    • Microsoft Exchange, VMware, and data backup software
    • Prior work at a Managed Services / Cloud Provider

Job Opportunities:

Based on qualifications and client demands, we may be looking for:

  • Part-time (15 – 20 hours per week)
  • Contract (20 – 40 hours per week) to permanent
  • Permanent Full-time
